Joanne Ronalds
Clinical Psychologist
Board Approved Supervisor
Joanne is a registered Clinical Psychologist with experience in a variety of settings including public and private hospitals and the non-for-profit sector. She holds a Masters of Clinical Psychology and is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. Joanne re-trained as a clinical psychologist after a career in social work in Australia and overseas.
Joanne’s areas of interest and expertise include:
• Trauma (including PTSD and CPTSD)
• Anxiety and depression
• Interpersonal difficulties
Joanne focuses on therapy that deepens your understanding of the past and how it presents itself in the present. This reflection aims to identify unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour to promote growth and well being. She draws on a variety of evidence-based approaches to facilitate change including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Interpersonal Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
Joanne is also a Board Approved Supervisor and is available to provide supervision to early career psychologists and psychology registrars seeking endorsement.
Joanne also holds a role as a senior clinical psychologist at the Cabrini Women’s Mental Health Service.
Gina Blowers
Clinical Psychologist
Gina is a registered Clinical Psychologist with experience in a range of public mental health settings. She has completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Gina’s therapeutic approach is warm and non-judgmental, and she works collaboratively with her clients to help them explore their experiences, challenge their usual way of approaching issues and make meaningful changes in their lives.
Gina’s areas of interest and expertise include:
• Trauma (including PTSD and complex PTSD)
• Anxiety and depression
• Adjustment to life transitions and relationship issues
Gina draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Schema Therapy.
